Meet the team

Three physios. One set of rooms.

Between us: marathons, horses, French, yoga and a lot of school runs. You will get to know all of us eventually.

Lorraine Jacobs

Lorraine Jacobs

MSc Physiotherapy (Wits)

Lorraine has been in practice since 1980, and has practised in Rivonia for the past 35 years.

She has a special interest in the management of back and neck pain, shoulder headaches and TMJ disorders, both as acute onset and more persistent and complex problems. She has extensive experience in the management of chronic pain, arthritis and post cancer pain.

She is affiliated to the multidisciplinary Pain Collective team and is a member of the Discovery Spinal Conservative Care network.

She has taught on post-graduate programs and runs CPD workshops as well as a mentoring program for physiotherapists.

Rosanne Le Jeune

Rosanne Le Jeune

BSc Physiotherapy (UCT)

Rosanne qualified in 1983 and has been in private practice since 1990. After more than four decades, she remains passionate about her work.

She has a special interest in neuromusculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries, and gets particular satisfaction from seeing patients return to sport. She favours manual therapy over electrotherapy, and believes treatment should go beyond pain relief to restore function. She also offers shockwave therapy.

Rosanne does home visits for elderly patients to help them stay functional and safe at home. She has adapted her manipulative skills to treat horses and dogs, and speaks fluent French.

Sebastian Walker

Sebastian Walker

BSc Physiotherapy (Wits)

Joining January 2027

Sebastian joins the practice in January 2027. He has a special interest in sports physiotherapy, adolescent physiotherapy and general musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

He takes an evidence-based, patient-centred approach, combining hands-on treatment with targeted exercise to address the underlying cause of an injury and support a confident return to activity. He works with athletes, teenagers navigating sport and growing bodies, and anyone wanting to move without pain.

A former competitive swimmer, he now runs and trains in CrossFit and hybrid fitness, giving him a first-hand understanding of the demands placed on an active body.
